About Me
After growing up on a rural east coast hilltop, I went on to study graphic design and photography in Philadelphia (with a summer abroad in London). To this day, I still love exploring and finding creative inspiration in both historic city streets and on beautiful forest trails. Most recently, I’ve enjoyed living in Denver with my cat, Daisy, but I’m always open and excited for a new adventure—whether that be a cactus-filled road trip, hiking high above the fjords in Norway, or moving to somewhere new.
One of my biggest passions is using art and design to convey difficult human experiences in an emotional and relatable way, especially in relation to mental health and trauma recovery. I find purpose also in being a collaborator for authors’ and poets’ own “healing through creativity” journeys—two such projects being book design and illustration for A Wave Called Grief by Whitney Popa and The Darkness of Spring by Jenna Bushspies.
If I could live any story right now, I’d be investigating a mystery by candlelight in an old castle (complete with a huge, cozy library, of course) while a thunderstorm rages outside. As long as it’s not too scary and there are good snacks! What about you?

“This is absolutely the most beautiful book I have ever read and I have read a lot of wonderful books.
This book has amazing illustration throughout and was set up in a poetry style that I really like… Every picture was really beautifully done and very fitting for whatever was happening at that point in the stories of these people's lives.” -Beverly
